Rachel began her career in public accounting in 2007 at a leading San Diego based CPA firm. In 2012, she launched a US-based outsource company (regroupPROCESSING), which supports CPAs nationwide with data entry components of business tax prep. In 2016 Rachel launched a second start-up company, regroupTAX, focused on developing tools to help increase workflow efficiency for tax professionals. Using her skills as a CPA, Rachel, along with her regroupTAX team, built a SaaS-based workpaper application to create consistent, paperless workpaper files for business tax returns. Rachel is passionate about creating a collaborative environment and pushing the envelope when it comes to new technologies and solutions within the industry. Rachel also co-founded the CPA Future Leader Forum; a community of “next gen” CPA firm leaders who believe that collaboration is the key to elevating the profession as a whole, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of CalCPA. Rachel’s vision for the future of the accounting industry is built on excellent client service and she is dedicated to fostering relationships and building solutions to help the industry move forward in an innovative way. Rachel has a B.S. in Managerial Economics from The University of California, Davis and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2008.
