Course Description

All accounting firms need candidates for partnership for two reasons. First, senior partners need confidence that their clients will be taken care of and their retirement will be secure. Second, aspiring future leaders need a clear path to partnership that prepares them for the realities of owning the firm. Without a partner development initiative, partners can’t retire and future leaders won’t stay. This presentation will explain why most firms are struggling with this issue and how to overcome what seems insurmountable.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the key reasons your partner pipeline is weak

  • Present the necessary elements of a robust program to produce partner candidates
