Lacy Magby is a highly experienced professional working with CPAs since 2012. Lacy began doing training, support, and implementation for Document Management systems. In 2019 Lacy made the move to New Business Sales where she assisted firms in choosing a Document Management System to improve their workflow and organization. In 2021, IRIS Software acquired iChannel, which allowed her to expand her expertise into Practice Management Software and explore how Document Management and Practice Management can work together to enhance firms’ efficiency. Lacy is also the Channel Manager for Accountancy in North America, where she is always enthusiastic to find partnerships that benefit their clients.

Through her 12 years of experience, she has established connections with firms across North America, helping them select software that aids them in achieving the targets they set as a company. Lacy has a passion for taking a problem that a CPA firm is dealing with and assisting them in streamlining their workflow, defining better processes and procedures, and showing them a tool that will make their work lives easier.

Don Emery, CPA/CA is Doc.It by IRIS’s Director of Client Solutions, reporting to the CEO. Don assists customers with various issues and provides implementation consulting services to clients. Don leads the North America business development team. Don joined Doc.It in 2009 as an Implementation Specialist and was named Director of Client Solutions in 2012. Before Doc.It from 1998 to 2009, Don worked for Streamline Information Systems Limited in several roles, including President, Vice President of Services, Sales Territory Manager, and Manager of Finance and Administration. Don was instrumental in assisting the owners with selling the business in 2007. From 1993 – 1998 Don worked for JNE Consulting Limited in many roles, including finance, human resources, IT, and property management branches of an engineering company with offices in multiple countries. Don was instrumental in supporting the growth of the organization from 35 to 255 employees during a 5-year period. Don has worked for the Government of Bermuda and the Regional Municipality of Hamilton Wentworth, where he was a supervisor of payroll, pensions, and benefits administration. Don also worked in an accounting firm from 1982 to 1987, where he was the supervisor of Audit Services.

Steven has been a part of the DeLeon & Stang team since 2009, contributing his expertise and leadership in various roles throughout his years with the firm. Starting as an intern, he has progressed through positions such as Staff Accountant, In-Charge Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Tax Manager. Currently, he holds the position of Tax Principal and Director of Business Services.

With a strong focus on business consulting and tax strategy, Steven works closely with our clients to implement effective tax reduction strategies and help them achieve their financial goals. He excels in assisting businesses in improving their internal accounting processes, ensuring that their financial data is not only accurate but also presented in a timely manner.

Steven's role extends beyond tax planning and business consulting. As the manager of our Client Accounting Advisory Services (CAAS), he is dedicated to providing our business clients with up-to-date financial information and real-time data to facilitate informed decision-making and goal attainment. Additionally, he oversees our firm's workflow projects, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks for both our business and individual clients.
